This role is ideal for a leader who enjoys building businesses, developing high-performing teams, creating innovative growth strategies, and navigating the rapidly evolving healthcare landscape.

  • Lead branding, marketing, advertising, and digital engagement strategies to strengthen VPFW's market presence and patient experience.
  • Monitor healthcare trends and position the organization for continued growth and competitiveness.

Financial & Operational Excellence

  • Direct all operational, financial, and administrative functions of the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, enhance revenue, and maximize shareholder value.
  • Establish measurable performance metrics and accountability systems across the organization.

Physician & Leadership Development

  • Build strong relationships with physician shareholders and providers.
  • Collaborate with physician leadership to recruit, retain, and develop exceptional clinical talent.
  • Lead executive and management teams while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Support physician engagement, leadership development, compensation strategies, and succession planning initiatives.

Business Development & External Relations

  • Serve as a key representative of the organization within the Richmond healthcare community.
  • Develop strategic relationships with hospitals, health systems, payers, vendors, and business partners.
  • Lead negotiations that create favorable outcomes for the organization and its physicians.

Culture & Patient Experience

  • Champion a patient-centered culture focused on exceptional clinical outcomes and service excellence.
  • Promote organizational values of integrity, teamwork, respect, innovation, and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and industry requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality and patient safety.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred
  • Minimum of eight years of progressive healthcare executive leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex healthcare operations, financial performance, and organizational growth.
  • Strong understanding of physician practice management, healthcare finance, contracting, and regulatory compliance.
